Temporary Sculptures and other bodily interventions - Performance theory and praxis Nanna Lysholt Hansen

Forelæsning Fredag den 10-2-2012 kl.: 13:00-15:00

Sted: Auditorium, Italienske

Arrangør: Afdelingen for Teori og Formidling

Beskrivelse:

The body situated temporarily as an object in space is the starting point for thinking about subjectivity and intersubjective relations. Nanna Lysholt-Hansen has since 2003 used her own body as a tool to investigate relationships between the body, location, situation and time. She has performed for live audiences but has also become increasingly interested in the 'camera as a witness' and in using the technology as a 'second other' physical presence in her work. Nanna Lysholt-Hansen will present the work 'Temporary Sculptures for Beijing Apartments', which was performed for camera in several private spaces in Beijing in 2009.
